Here's how to take a screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy phone:
Using the Power and Volume Down buttons
- Set up the screen with the content you want to screenshot.
- Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously for about a second until the screen flashes and shrinks slightly.
- The screenshot will be saved to your Gallery app.
Using Palm Swipe
- Make sure the "Palm swipe to capture" feature is enabled in Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures.
- Place the edge of your palm on the edge of the screen, with your pinkie pointing down the long side of the phone.
- Swipe your palm across the screen from one edge to the other.
- The screenshot will be captured and saved to your Gallery.
Using the Smart Select tool
- Take a screenshot using the Power + Volume Down or Palm Swipe method.
- When the screenshot toolbar appears, tap the "Smart select" icon.
- Select the Rectangle tool and position it over the area you want to capture.
- Tap Done and then Save to save the selected area as a screenshot.
That's it! Your screenshot will be saved to your Gallery app where you can view, edit, and share it.
