How to screenshot on Samsung Galaxy

Here's how to take a screenshot on a Samsung Galaxy phone:

Using the Power and Volume Down buttons

  1. Set up the screen with the content you want to screenshot.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously for about a second until the screen flashes and shrinks slightly.
  3. The screenshot will be saved to your Gallery app.

Using Palm Swipe

  1. Make sure the "Palm swipe to capture" feature is enabled in Settings > Advanced features > Motions and gestures.
  2. Place the edge of your palm on the edge of the screen, with your pinkie pointing down the long side of the phone.
  3. Swipe your palm across the screen from one edge to the other.
  4. The screenshot will be captured and saved to your Gallery.

Using the Smart Select tool

  1. Take a screenshot using the Power + Volume Down or Palm Swipe method.
  2. When the screenshot toolbar appears, tap the "Smart select" icon.
  3. Select the Rectangle tool and position it over the area you want to capture.
  4. Tap Done and then Save to save the selected area as a screenshot.

That's it! Your screenshot will be saved to your Gallery app where you can view, edit, and share it.
